Following the latest burger craze in town, another new burger joint - KGB (Killer Gourmet Burgers) opened in Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar few weeks ago.
PS// KGB use chicken breasts for all of their chicken burgers.
Thanks to Foodirector and KGB Bangsar, it was a great dining experience as I get to try many different types of burgers and meet new people. I liked how they come out with different types of burgers and fries but I think they need to improve on the taste like the spicy cajun fries, I can only taste a little bit of spiciness in it. Besides, there's also an optionally where you can swap the beef patty for a grilled chicken if you can't take beef, which is a plus point. Not forgetting to mention that they use 100% Australian grass fed ground beef for their patty :)
PS// This is based on my individual tastes.

Freshly baked bread with their signature stamp "KGB" :3
Sunshine Bella with grilled portobello, fried egg and garlic aioli (vege)
Bella Bomb (meaty) with grilled patty, 2x portobello cheese bomb and shack sauce
Honestly I fell in love with this burger at first bite. The burger patty is very juicy and it mix well with the shack sauce, one of their special sauce where they use mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and spices to make it. Besides, they use three types of cheese stuffed inside the big mushroom (portobello cheese bomb): parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella, which makes it more tasty. Thumbs up (Y)
Bash with grilled patty, beef bacon relish, provolone cheese, caramelized onions and cornflakes
Burgers with cornflakes?! At first I was like "huhhh why they put cornflakes inside the burgers?" but after I taste it, I was wrong. It goes well with the patty and cheese and it makes the burger more crunchy! I also love the idea that they use caramelized onions instead (it's sweet!!!), best for vege/onions haters like me :D
Kickin' with parm crusted chic, sharp cheddar and wasabi mayonnaise
It is quite special because they use wasabi mayonnaise as the sauce and the taste is very light, so no worries for non-wasabi eaters :) Besides, the chicken breast is very juicy and surprisingly, it blends well with wasabi mayo.PS// KGB use chicken breasts for all of their chicken burgers.
Tornado with grilled patty, onion ring, fried egg and fiery mayonnaise
Tornado is good but I just don't like the fiery mayonnaise (quite spicy!) and it is kinda messy to have fried egg, grilled patty and onion ring together. I'd recommend you to take out the onion ring and eat separately as you can't taste anything except for the fiery mayonnaise. Besides, it is very oily due to the onion ring and fried egg, I guess. :/
Seoul with parm crusted chic, fried egg, kimchi mayonnaise and kimchi
Too bad I didn't get to try it but I think it's very good (what I heard from the other bloggers lah :p) and special as I've never eat any kimchi burgers before. Definitely coming back for this! :)
The Shack with smashed patty, sharp cheddar and shack sauce
Truffle'd Fries
Kimchi with Bulgogi Beef Fries
My favourite among the others! It is kinda special but I personally think that the kimchi taste are not strong enough and it overpower by the beef.
Herbed Fries
The herbed fries are not my cup of tea because I just hate the strong smell of herbs and it's quite salty.
Spicy Cajun Fries
I don't know whether is it the herbed fries are too salty or what, I can only taste a bit of spiciness when I try the cajun fries.
Shortrib Poutine
I've never try any shortrib poutine before so I can't talk much about it but from what I heard from the other bloggers, they claimed that it's like a fake version of shortrib poutine, either the fries are too hard or too little gravy and sauce.
