Suria KLCC Lights Up Tallest Christmas Tree in Kuala Lumpur

Suria KLCC has recently unveiled its tallest Christmas tree which is also one of the tallest in Kuala Lumpur. The Christmas tree was completed over a period of five days using a metal base that is 26 feet (7.9 metres) in diameter to hold the Christmas tree up. Soaring high beside Petronas Twin Towers, the country's tallest towers, the Suria KLCC Christmas tree is beautifully decorated with garland leaves, baubles and environmental friendly LED lights. It can be seen at Suria KLCC until 25 December.


"At Suria KLCC we are always looking for ways to spread the festive cheer among our visitors. Christmas is one of those festive seasons that many people find magical and special so this Christmas, we wanted to give our customers something special too. By lighting up the tallest Christmas tree in the city, we hope it will brighten hearts with magical moments this Christmas," said Datuk Hashim Wahir, Chairman of Suria KLCC.


So the 65 feet (19.8 metres) Christmas tree was officially lit up by Datuk Hashim Wahir, Chairman of Suria KLCC on 17th December 2013 in conjunction with the upcoming festive celebration.



Suria KLCC will also be entertaining visitors with dazzling performances from now until 26th December. Come and watch amusing musical shows, jazz quartets, Christmas carols and dance performances by talented adults and adorable children alike. Lucky kids will also get to see Santa Claus live on stage as well as receive candy canes from Santa himself on selected days. So what are you waiting for?
