There are getting more and more graffiti artworks all around the world especially in Malaysia, be it in the shopping mall or along the street. And now here's another place added to the list, #lorongbelakang at Laman Seni 7, Shah Alam. Lorong belakang always give people a bad impression of smelly, dirty and full of rats/cockroaches but now they've transformed it into a clean and artistic alley. Check out the artworks below and believe me, it's definitely Instagram-worthy!
A little introduction of the project: "Laman Seni 7" is the continuity of "Laman Seni 2" (which I've yet to visit) project. Similar to the previous project in Section 2, this project will be focusing on the improvement of the backlane. This project will be directing more towards art and architecture appreciation. It will be a platform for the younger generations especially students, to express their talents and fresh ideas. In short, "Laman Seni 7" is aimed to be the focal point for the youth to congregate to utilize the given space for the benefit of the community.
OMG all the artworks are so amazing that I don't wish to leave the place! Fyi we've spent two hours at just one alley and we still can't get enough of it, so remember to spare more time if you love to take pictures and going in a big group. You can use Waze by typing "Tutti Frutti Seksyen 7" and walk into the alley beside it and there you go, snapping time! :D
